We pray in a special way for all those who have been affected by the terrorists, tortures, earthquakes, floods, tornados, and other disasters. We also pray for the holy souls who lost their lives. We pray for the souls helping the rescue efforts and giving aid. May God's angels guide them in staying safe, finding survivors, protecting their efforts, and giving comfort to all.
Eternal Father, I offer you the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my own home, and within my family. Amen
~ St. Gertrude the Great
Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all souls into Heaven, especially those in most need of thy Mercy. And may the souls of the faithfully departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.
After my post on my other blog about the Purgatory Box, I started getting requests of souls to add to my box. Why not post them in a blog so that anyone can remember these souls, by name, and pray for them in daily intentions or at Mass. Thus starts the Purgatory Page.
If you have a specific soul that you would like added, please submit, via email or comment box, first names or initials, and their State or Country. I would rather not have any last names or Cities for security reasons. The Holy Trinity and Blessed Virgin Mary will know for whom we are praying.
*Please note: once the names have been added to the post, your comment will be deleted.*
*********************** Christ told St. Faustina, "All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only know the torments they suffer."
*********************** There are more souls released from Purgatory during the Consecration of the Mass than at any other time. Christmas is the day of the year when most souls are delivered; followed by feast days of Our Lord, Our Lady, and great saints. Souls receive much grace from prayers offered for them on their birthdays, day of baptism, and anniversary of death.
